The name Novuscor came from combining two Latin words that means new heart or new soul. We thought the meaning and the creation of the word Novuscor was fitting and appropriate to describe our company and the mission we share to provide fertility management software. Novuscor is about empowerment and supporting a person’s ability to create life.
In 2003 a group of people gathered to learn the art of teaching fertility awareness. This type of meeting to become a teaching practitioner has been in practice for more than thirty years. As a group we were told that the teaching method would be easy, safe and effective for everyone who wanted to learn fertility awareness. The reality to become a teaching practitioner was difficult. Why are fertility awareness methods difficult to teach, understand or to use? The simplistic answer to this question is because the human body is complex and in a constant state of change. Although fertility awareness can be safe and effective it is not entirely easy to learn or to use. It was at this time, sitting in this class when the Novuscor concept was adopted. Can we take a complex process like someone’s fertility and map it to that individual’s fertility cycle. Can we create a true depiction of someone’s fertile or infertile times? If you think about this, thirty years ago people did not have the power of the computer and so resorted to pencil charting their cycles. The term, “art of interpretation” was born. The paper charting format was adopted and people frequently made mistakes interpreting their chart information. Today, we live in a technological age using computers that provide information at our finger tips. The words FertileView a desk top application can be easily understood by people using computer software. FertileView like many other software applications are designed to help people understand information; with the FertileView fertility management program you will have the information to understand your fertility.
